I’ve been back from Alaska for two weeks now and really been meaning to get back to posting here. I don’t mean this sort of quick post, but real ones with information on writing and marketing. But somehow catching up with work, while writing and marketing, I didn’t make the time.
That and my blogging mindset has changed.
I should phrase that my marketing mindset has changed. That new perspective began before vacation, but three weeks away really set it is stone. Somewhere as I crossed timezones, I also crossed a line between then and now. And now means blogging a little less, but making sure the posts are really worth (and ready for) posting. Look for upcoming posts on tips for world building, limiting magic, and pondering the question “Do you blog because you feel invisible?”
So the good news is you will be seeing some really awesome posts with more in depth content that I hope you’ll enjoy. You’ll just see them a little less frequently. Hopefully once I get myself reoriented and settled – as in beyond some new releases, summer craziness, and a decision to sell about everything I own – I’ll even get back into the Monday Reads story posts. But right now I have to put them on hold.
Wait. Did I just say sell everything I own?
Yup… Life is short. I’d feel that way if I had a 1000 years ahead of me. But I have a lot less than that and it is time to put some long desired plans into action. If you want to go along on that crazy journey, check out my other website at www.escapewiththedog.com.
Otherwise, see you back here on Friday!
