I was happily working on cleaning up the first draft of Spark of Defiance, book 1 in the new epic fantasy series I am working on when I realized it was mid August. I’m supposed to release book 3 in Friends of my Enemy in September! The thought stopped me mid-chapter. I hadn’t finished final edits on the Battle for Europe yet. Heck, I didn’t have a cover!
Needless to say, I’ve rectified THAT situation now. Battle for Europe is now in the hands of an editor and I finished the cover art on Tuesday! Yay!
Just like with After the War, book 2 of Friends of my Enemy, I will be putting it up on Amazon for pre-order as soon as possible with a mid-September release date. And while on pre-order it will only be 99¢! Look for it next week on my Amazon Author’s Page and I’ll update a link here when it is available and on it’s book page here.
Before I get to the cover reveal though, a quick update on the last book of the series, the Fight for Peace. It is due out in November! So I’m working on cleaning up the last of its edits and plan to work on the cover in September. As soon as it is in a format to be viewed, I’ll be tossing it up for pre-order as well while it goes through its final edits. So expect to see every book in the series available by mid-October at the very latest. This is great news if you are a fan of the series, possibly not the best news if you are urgently awaiting the new epic fantasy series… because my focus on that has been shifted temporarily as I finalize these two books. But once that done, I’ll be back to working on Games of Fire!
And without further ado – the Battle for Europe!
For the Guard, keeping Europe safe has never been more difficult.
The hunt for information on the FLF endangers lives, including one very dear to Arinna Prescot, the leader of Europe’s military. But as Derrick Eldridge volunteers for a risky mission to infiltrate the enemy, he leaves his best friend alone in confronting the ministers of MOTHER, who secretly manipulate Europe’s government. The same ministers who wish to remove Arinna and will not take a new threat to their power lightly.
By refusing to step aside as the unsanctioned leader of the Guard, Arinna widens the rift between Europe’s military and MOTHER, leaving the Guard scrambling to find enough soldiers to protect the border. Control of Europe hinges on internal plots, but Europe’s powerful are not hatching the only conspiracies. The battlefield is quiet but the fighting has not ceased. And its outcome will determine who rules Europe.
